On March 12, our students had the incredible opportunity to visit Concepts in Millwork for The Mill’s 3rd Annual Girls Trip! During the visit, students toured the facility, learned about careers in the millwork industry, and even got hands-on by building their own wooden drawer with a former Mill student as their instructor!
Experiences like this are so important. By partnering with industry leaders like Concepts in Millwork, we’re helping students see that skilled trades and manufacturing are exciting, creative, and viable career paths for women.
